Many Care managers are not aware of all of the options available to Health and Social Care employers to help them meet the costs of their training and development.
We are working with many employers to identify their training needs and then deliver the training they need.
One of the first obstacles for most Managers is the inevitable cost of training.
We discuss the training requirements of each organisation and always explain our delivery. We are very proud of the training and learning we provide and employers agree that quality should be the highest priority.
When we explain our product to employers they like what we have to offer:

Online portfolios that can be accessed by employers to monitor progress
However, cost can overshadow their wish to provide genuine high quality learning.
We are recommending that Health and Social Care employers access and use the National Minimum Data Set (NMDS) to record and manage their staff training and development data. Doing so not only provides the employer with a robust record of training but then achieves eligibility to reclaim costs of learning and development.
Once eligible, employers can apply to the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) to reclaim the costs of eligible staff training. We are supporting many employers to use this resource to enable them not to compromise on the quality of the training they choose.
