Mandatory training launch!

We are really excited to launch our mandatory training courses for care providers. We designed our courses in response to the feedback we received from care employers. They spoke and we listened!
We've maintained our core value: REAL SKILLS FOR REAL PEOPLE IN REAL WORKPLACES, by creating sessions that are delivered by an experienced Tutor to learners within their workplace. Our courses ensure learners leave a session having gained knowledge to be applied to their practice. Employers will achieve good value for money by benefitting from actual learning and development for their care teams and service users will benefit too from a well trained, knowledgable and highly skilled provider.

Spaces are already booking up quickly as many care employers have been keen to secure real training delivery rather than relying on electronic courses or videos to support staff development.


We have designed courses and course materials for the core mandatory training topics for care providers and employers can choose the sessions they need to create their own bespoke packages to meet the needs of their setting.

Real support for training costs

Many Care managers are not aware of all of the options available to Health and Social Care employers to help them meet the costs of their training and development.
We are working with many employers to identify their training needs and then deliver the training they need.
One of the first obstacles for most Managers is the inevitable cost of training.
We discuss the training requirements of each organisation and always explain our delivery. We are very proud of the training and learning we provide and employers agree that quality should be the highest priority.
When we explain our product to employers they like what we have to offer:

Face to face teaching and support
Real learning resources provided
Online portfolios that can be accessed by employers to monitor progress
Experienced Tutors

Bespoke delivery

However, cost can overshadow their wish to provide genuine high quality learning.
We are recommending that Health and Social Care employers access and use the National Minimum Data Set (NMDS) to record and manage their staff training and development data. Doing so not only provides the employer with a robust record of training but then achieves eligibility to reclaim costs of learning and development.

Once eligible, employers can apply to the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) to reclaim the costs of eligible staff training. We are supporting many employers to use this resource to enable them not to compromise on the quality of the training they choose.
